Seminar
Objectives
The National
Seminar on Stochastic Modeling (NSSM 2012) aims to bring forth Researchers, Academicians
and Professional Statisticians into a single forum in order to discuss and
debate on the innovative research and development activities in the areas of
Stochastic Modeling and allied areas.The seminar will comprise of an invited
talk session as well as a contributed paper presentation session.
Call
for Papers
Researchers, Academicians and Professional
Statisticians are invited to present their contributory research paper/invited
talks in the seminar. All submissions
for contributory papers must describe original results of their research
findings that are neither published nor currently under review by other
conference/journals. Authors are requested
to submit full papers on any of the topics not exceeding six A4 size papers for
contributed papers/24 A4 size for invited talks conforming to IEEE format with
name and affiliation of each author including email address. The topic of the seminar includes but are not
limited to
- Stochastic Modeling
- Reliability Modeling
- Time Series Models
- Statistical Pattern Recognition
- Signal and Information Processing.
Paper Submission
The authors are requested to submit
their paper through the Easy Chair Login page: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=nssm2012.
The
authors of selected papers should register for participation. The registration fee includes seminar kit,
lunch and tea on seminar days. The papers
of the authors registered before the deadline will only be published in the seminar proceedings.

Accommodation
Limited sharing accommodation will
be provided in the University Guest House on first come first serve basis. Hotel accommodation on participants choice
shall be arranged on prior request.
Hotel tariff ranges from Rs 500- Rs 3000/- per day
in Kannur city. Transport will be
available from the hotel to the venue of the conference.
